The Boral Roofing A Different Pitch Design Award

Boral Roofing announces the launch of its inaugural design award, A Different Pitch, to coincide with World Architecture Day on 3 October.

The Boral Roofing A Different Pitch Design Award is a national competition to promote innovative conceptual roof designs and projects, which explore the creative construction possibilities of Boral's flat profile Terracotta Shingle or Flat Concrete roof tiles.

"As the single largest surface area of most dwellings, the roof is integral to bringing your vision to life," Boral Roofing divisional general manage Brett Sargeant says.

"We are challenging Australian building designers and architects to showcase their talent by exploring innovative expressions of roof design using tiles."

The design awards are given to help promote the Boral Roofing shingles called the "Terracotta". Roof design can be made with a pitch as low as 15 degrees.
